EDUCATION

Debbie graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Biology.  She decided to pursue graduate study and attended the four-year Masters program at Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Los Angeles, California. 

CERTIFICATION

Debbie is currently certified to practice Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology in the state of California.  Debbie is also certified in Traditional Chinese Nutrition and Western Internal Medicine.

CONSTITUTIONAL FACIAL ACUPUNCTURE RENEWAL

Debbie has received specialized education in Consitituional Facial Acupuncture Renewal, including advanced certification from Mary Elizabeth Wakefield, L.Ac.  In addition, Debbie has received certification in Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture by Martha Lucas, Ph.D., L.Ac and Denise Ellinger, L.Ac

Where did the name originate? 

Debbie believes there is no power stronger in the Universe than love.  Love is at the heart of all healing.  When a practitioner's healing energy comes from the heart, combined with the patients' innate ability to self-heal, it is a magical experience.  Thus, Heart of Healing Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine was the only choice for a practice with love as its base.
